Jesus death is God's greatest sacrifice for man. The sacrifices of animals wasn't enough to lead us us in the way, the life and the truth, to heaven. The cost of animal sacrifice wouldn't have been palatable. The new agreement that God made with his people is better because of Jesus. There is no Yes and No with God. It is only yes. Jesus is the Yes to all of God's promises. The precious promises, which become true through Jesus makes us partakers of the divine nature, that are reserved for children. Only filthiness and unrighteousness can cut you off from enjoying the promises.
