Accomodative Use of OT Prophecy in the NT|Two Guys and A Bible

Today, we discuss the fulfillment of Isaiah 25:6-8 and whether it was fulfilled only in the contempary time of Isaiah, or does it have legitimate Messianic application in fulfillment of the resurrection as quoted by Paul in 1 Cor. 15:50-54?  Some Amillennialists claimed Paul's quote was used by accommodation and did not really mean the text was being applied to the resurrection.We examine the claim and document with the authority of scholars on the use of accommodative language with several clear and undeniable Scriptures and themes to establish the true accommodative use affects future application.
