Acid Camp Vol. 78 — Ryan Scannura

from Acid Camp Podcast · host Acid Camp

After spending most of his life in the Midwest, Ryan Scannura moved to Denver, Colorado where he created the ongoing party, Deep Club. The underground party aimed to highlight some of the finest American dance music talent while providing a safe space for people of all backgrounds and genders. In the last five years, Deep Club hosted artists like The Black Madonna, Mike Huckaby, Honey Soundsystem, D’Marc Cantu, Noncompliant, and many others, while simultaneously working hard to nurture its resident DJs and other local talent. The collective spawned a podcast series and a record label, which claims four 12-inch records. As Deep Club pushes into its fifth year, Ryan continues to dj in Colorado and elsewhere, and bring underrepresented artists to Denver. This mix is part of Ryan’s closing set from a Deep Club party in December, 2017 that also featured Roger That, John Tyler, and Beaner. Follow @deepclubdenver
