Acknowledge its existence with silence
from Filibuster - The Black and Red United Podcast
Ben has returned from Brazil, and so is back with Jason and Adam to bring you Filibuster on this lovely Wednesday. We start off talking about D.C. United's record playing during World Cups, which is not very good in recent memory. We then try and assign some blame on the game winning goal, talk about how Toronto played 2 games when D.C. United played five in the same span, what United can do about its tired squad going forward, and we bring up Jalen Robinson and his time with the US U-23s. We then have to talk about the newest D.C. United stadium news, and are happy that they're going to Buzzard Point (even though Ben is sad he's defending corporations). We then move onto this weekend's game against Orlando City Soccer Club, and open by wondering what position Brek Shea will play. We talk about how awesome Cyle Larin is, how much we still hate Orlando City, and how we get the season sweep from them. We end by talking about the USA's first game in the Women's World Cup, their play and why they should be better, and go around the rest of the results through one round. Give it a listen!
