Sharing who you are Acknowledging Prayer: 1. Acknowledges my relationship with God. Hebrews 4:15-16 15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin. 16 Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. (NIV) Anointing = An impartation of God’s spirit into my spirit to help me accomplish the task He has called me to do Matthew 5:44 44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, (NIV) Matthew 11:28-30 28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” (NIV) 3.
