Acomi On A Regular Day, Part 2

from Our Moms Think We're Funny · host Korova Entertainment

Part 2 Acomi, having recently read the book American Psycho, and watched the movie, decides to address the millennials who claim to "identify" with the main character. Feeling that these mill-yawn-ials have completely misunderstood the actual story and the message behind it. Viewing Patrick Bateman as a figure to be idolized and imitated; in part. Acomi declares that Bateman isn't a representative of the disenfranchised youth, caught in centrifuge of societal norms and corporate expectations. In truth, he's a lonely nobody that works a dead end job, fantasizing about the lives of his customers, and vying desperately to be one of them. While, at the same time preying upon them because he knows that he can't keep up his charade for very long. Playing Acomi's advocate on IOU retainer, Turk182 sees the book as a tale of truth. A wolf, pretending to be a sheep, who's pretending to be a wolf - "Mornin', Ralph." Mornin', Sam." - that preys upon the sheep pretending to be wolves, because they don't know what a real wolf looks like. Too, afraid and conceited to admit who they really are, or acknowledge the truth about the hamster wheel world they run in. Take a listen and take a stand.
