This week we speak mainly on two verses of Job 22 (Amplified Classic Edition – AMPC) where Eliphaz is answering Job with what he needs to do in response to his discontent. How much should we learn from the basic instructions of Eliphaz here, to acquaint ourselves with the Lord, to agree with Him and show ourselves to be conformed to His Will. Eliphaz continues to explain that by doing so we shall prosper and great good shall come to you.All of this was available to Job, an unsaved soul on the face of the earth, the Messiah not yet having come to pay the price for his sins and offer eternal life. Yet how much more, then, are you and I able to do due to being a born again and redeemed soul.
