Across The Airwaves 101 (Standard) "Over the River and through the Streets to a Thanksgiving Feast We Go?
from Across the Airwaves Podcast (Standard MP3) · host Dan Schmidt & Nico Reifsteck
Hey ATA Listeners, with most of our favorite shows being on hiatus during the week due to Thanksgiving being celebrated in America, I decided to give this episode a title that's a variation on the most popular Thanksgiving song "To Grandmother's House We Go" because all we did during this week of television was somehow go over the bloody river on Revolution and through the city streets on Castle to a Thanksgiving feast with the Support Group on Go On. But take note on the Question mark at the end of this title because we still don't know how the cast of Revolution crossed the river to give us a terrible episode in the tunnels underneath Philadelphia that featured the worst use of the song Kashmir that I've ever seen. In fact, it was so bad we decided to use the song for our closing just to make up for the travesty of the legendary Led Zeppelin's music being used for a stupid hallucination scene that was all about false advertising. Anyway, going back to the theme of this week's episode, what would be a Thanksgiving Feast without the sides coming from our Airwaves Rundown Section where we discuss some really great episodes of Homeland, New Girl, Vegas, Ben and Kate, Sons of Anarchy and more along with an episode of Bones that had the potential of being outstanding like the Veterans Day episode but ended up falling short.
