Across The Airwaves Episode 112 (Standard) "Happy Together on Valentine's Day"
from Across the Airwaves Podcast (Standard MP3) · host Dan Schmidt & Nico Reifsteck
Hey ATA Listeners, with this week's podcast reviewing episodes of our favorite shows during the week of Valentine's Day. We decided to celebrate television's most popular couples being happy together as Once upon a Time gave Snow White and Prince Charming a renewed sense of adventure, Castle and Beckett kept each other in suspense over their Valentine's Day gifts, Claire and Phil's aspirations to do some sexual role-playing on Modern Family was ruined with a trip to the hospital and The Big Bang Theory featured the sweetest Valentine's Day moment of the week as Sheldon made Amy his emergency contact. However, the theme of being happy together on Valentine's Day dinner didn't just apply to romantic love, it applied to other types as well with brotherly love being exhibited by the Winchesters as Sam made a hard decision to end the cycle of the brothers sacrificing themselves for each other. We also got buddy love as Reese got into a no holds bar death match with a Government assassin to protect Finch's identity and some love between holidays as Community had a Halloween episode during the week of Valentine's Day creating a new event known as Valoween. By the way, I can't end the introduction to our Valentine's Day episode without mentioning Andy being happy together with both Nico and then later Woo in our discussions on The Following and this week's Glee. On top of that, we show our love for Arrow with a brand-new formatted section that isn't a repeat of our voicemails on Longbow Hunters and finally, we round out our episode discussing television happy together with Rundown Sections on How I Met Your Mother, Bones, Justified, ABC's new series Zero Hour and a whole lot more.
