Across the Airwaves Episode 114 (Standard) Castle's Papa was a Rolling Stone

Hey ATA Listeners, welcome to Across the Airwaves, on this week’s podcast we discuss our favorite shows this week and five interesting News with Nico items. In our discussion this week, Castle saw the introduction of James Brolin as Castle's father in a great second half to the Season 5 two-part episode.  Go On saw a great bit with Mr K as Mary Poppins that both Dan and Nico thought worthy of their favorite comedic moment.  The Modern Family discussion mostly focused on the great Phil and Luke story arc that revolved around Luke's dating.  Dan and Nico both agreed that Supernatural was a pretty great, despite being slower, more plot driven, and a lot less action oriented than the past few episodes.  Psych saw a discussion of our favorite comedic moments in the middle of a full review because both Dan and Nico loved this season premiere.  Finally, the Community discussion saw a disagreement between Dan and Nico on the quality of this episode and Nico's argument that showing the Study Group as villains was consistent with theme of this episode, while Dan argued that it was inconsistent with the theme of the overall show.  Also join us for a great Rundown Section that covers The Walking Dead, How I Met Your Mother, The Following, Bones,  New Girl, Justified, White Collar, the premiere of Golden Boy, Arrow, and The Americans.  The voicemail section this week featured two voicemails from Woo about Supernatural and How I Met Your Mother.
