Actively Waiting (Dan 10.10-14) - 10-17-21

Scripture texts are Daniel 10.10-14 and Eph 6.10-18 from the thought "Actively Waiting."Actively waiting on God does not mean we sit and do nothing. We continue to pray, trust God, and believe He will answer in His timing. We continue to do our part and trust God to do His part. So how do we actively wait?1. Trust that God hears us when we humble ourselves before Him. Prov 16:18 Pride goes before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall. Have I truly humbled myself before God?2. Continue to pray fervently, it's our best weapon. Ephesians 6:12 We wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Trust that God will hear you and answer you! Keep praying fervently to the Lord. Daniel continued praying to God! He followed God's law! Prayer was Daniel's and is our lifeline to God. Pray with thanksgiving in our heart, then make our request to God! Pray God's WORD back to Him while we wait!3. Continue your mission as though God has already answered! While waiting BEHAVE like we have the victory already! Daniel said while he waited he GOT UP and went BACK TO WORK! Stay on task in the LORD! God is WORKING in the SPIRITUAL before it is MANIFESTED in the PHYSICAL! PRAY and KEEP doing the WORK that the LORD has assigned us while we ACTIVELY WAIT!We actively wait by flowing in Jesus’ unhurried rhythms of grace. We don’t pray for victory. We pray from victory and it’s all in His timing. Humble ourselves, pray without ceasing, and continue our mission. This is how we actively wait.
