Resumo:Muito antes das cidades, da escrita ou dos impérios, um povo no Crescente Fértil fez algo radical: escolheu parar. Os Natufianos (também conhecidos como a Cultura Natufiana) foram uma civilização do Epipaleolítico que habitou a região do Levante (atual Israel, Jordânia, Líbano, Síria e Palestina) entre cerca de 15.000 e 12.000 anos atrás.
