He is the recipient of various international awards including Winning, Australia’s Top 5 under 35, Best Actor at the American International Film Festival, Best Actor at the Beyond Hollywood International Film Festival and Winner of Best Director at the 2022 Cannes Film Awards. James’s career in film started when he made a short film for $200 in remote outback Australia that went on to be a finalist in the NBC Universal Shorts Fest. Since then, he has gone to work on Oscar nominated feature films and leading television series. His latest film, Malibu Crush in which James plays the lead role of Michael Chase premiered at the TCL Chinese theatre in Hollywood over September and has scored over 26 festivals wins. In real estate James has won the prestigious REB Australian Auctioneer of the Year award 3 times and in 2019 he set a world record, becoming the first person in the world to auction real estate via live auctioneer with cryptocurrency. James sits on numerous advisory films boards including the SP Film Awards in New York, Mogul Productions in Los Angeles, and the iHollywood Film Festival in Los Angeles.
