Zainab is an accomplished actor who has starred opposite Lupita Nyong’o in ECLIPSED on Broadway and made history as one of the first Black women to take on the title role in HAMLET. We loved hearing her unique story of growing up with a grandmother who ran a children's theatre company in London, her spontaneous entry into the dance world at age 17, and her illustrious acting career. It was also exciting to hear about her upcoming film Reunion which she co-wrote and will be directing. Zainab has a fearless spirit and an openness to new experiences that is so inspiring.
