Actors & studio executives halt negotiations, while moribund Hollywood hangs on by a thread -- The mother of an Israeli man kidnapped by Hamas pleads for her son's return

The hopes of a quick resolution to the months-long actors strike were dashed when, in the early morning hours, SAG-AFTRA announced that studio executives have walked away from contract negotiations.  Meaning the actors strike will continue indefinitely.
