LIVE FROM THE CASTING BUFFALO ACTOR EXPO 2023!!! Paul Spitale talks to Stuntman Greg Robbins!! Greg is an American stunt performer, actor, writer and director. He originally stepped in front of the camera in the early 80’s playing a redneck thug in a made for TV movie, The Grand Baby. He attended LA Actors Theater, went to stunt school and Van-Mar Acting Academy. Robbins held a string of stunt jobs such as Terminator starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Trancers starring Helen Hunt, Future Kick starring Don "the Dragon" Wilson, and doubled for Jeffrey Combs in HP Lovecraft’s, Re-Animator. After the WGA and SAG strikes of ‘80 and ‘81 Robbins found his footing in production work for TV commercials. This kept him alive until the late 90’s when he created the wildlife series Animal Action, that he sold to Outdoor Channel and produced 26 episodes. The series called on him to return to his roots of stunts by being chased by wild animals all over the world in this Abbott and Costello style educational series. In 2015 Robbins partnered with his grown kids and local stunt performer Steve Vaughan to form Robbins Stunt Team. Together they have performed stunts in several films and TV shows. Robbins’ stunt coordinated. Hail Mary, For Nothing, Givers of Death, Bunker, Bound and was a stunt performer on Clover and Cabrini. Robbins is also a firearm safety expert and a competing Black Belt; he holds a 2nd degree Black belt in ITF Tae Kwon-Do and a 1st degree Black Belt in World Class Tae Kwon-do.
