Actress and dancer Kallie Hu talks 1950s wardrobe and her role in Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies | Young Entertainment Mag

YEM returns with an exclusive interview with Kallie Hu, who plays Peg in Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies. The musical romantic comedy-drama series is a prequel to the hit 1978 film Grease. It was released in April 2023 on Paramount+ and the season one finale premiered on the streaming service in June. While the series was removed from Paramount+ due to financial reasons, it is currently available for purchase on Amazon and Apple TV, with the hopes that another service will pick it up. The series takes place in 1954 and follows four outcast girls who band together, determined to shake up the social order at Rydell High. We asked Kallie to describe her character Peg using three words and she said Peg is compassionate, ambitious, and loyal.
