He just couldn’t stand the thought of it and declared that he wouldn’t allow it to happen. Jesus understood that it was Satan's voice coming through Peter, so He turned around and rebuked him instead. Sometimes, the enemy might even try to use your loved ones to pull you off the path that God has laid out for you.
