As our brother Luke starts out his second scroll or book it appears that we have an extended description of the end of 24 with Jesus appearing to them not over what seemed to be maybe one day but 40 days and eating with them and talking with them and showing them proofs That he was resurrected. Then everybody gets gathered together and we have another list of the 12 apostles oops not 12 we lost one didn’t we? Is it important to get another one it seems that Peter thought that it was important according to the book of psalms and so we have the choice of Joseph or Matthias and Matthias win the dice roll
