Acts 18:1-17 part 2 God's Gifts of Encouragement

Part 2: When Paul entered the city of Corinth as recorded in Acts chapter 18, he had hit a low point emotionally.  He had been forced out of previous towns before he could solidify the new believers there.  He had been dismissed as a fool in Athens.      And now he enters the city of Corinth, the "sin city" of the ancient world.  The whole place was given over to sexual immorality.  He had to have wondered if he was just throwing seed into the wind trying to share Jesus Christ there.  But God stepped in and gave him 5 gifts of encouragement to carry him over the tide of his malaise.  And God offers those same 5 gifts to every Christian when they are depressed.
