Acts 2v14-41: This Jesus

Pastor Jonathan Talley walks through Peter’s sermon in Acts 2 and shows how the outpouring of the Holy Spirit was always meant to point people to Jesus. As Peter stands before the crowd, he opens the Scriptures, proclaims Christ crucified and risen, and calls people to repentance and salvation in His name. This message explores how the Spirit empowers ordinary people, how the gospel confronts the human heart, and how Peter’s sermon answers the deepest questions of the crowd: What just happened? How did it happen? And what are we supposed to do now? Through Joel’s prophecy, the resurrection of Jesus, and the call to repent, Acts 2 reveals a Savior who is alive, exalted, and still calling people to Himself today.
