Steven stands before the council and gives a big speech and he is eventually killed and as he’s being killed, he ask God to forgive those who are killing him This is very similar to Jesus asking God to forgive those who are killing him at the end of the book of Luke. Steven talks a lot about an angel that appeared to Moses. It doesn’t seem like it’s an angel that appears to Moses when you read exodus, but I do wonder if Steven is trying to draw a point between God‘s angel and Jesus. I don’t know if this is just speculation, but that is something that I’ve wondered a lot about. Steven does point to the fact that Moses was rejected and connecting that to the Jewish people‘s rejection of many of those whom God sent and including, of course, in climatically, including Jesus, and even now including Steven and rejecting him
