Acts Chapter 16

Sermon notes, Bible references and small group guide have been discontinued for the time being. Please fill out our ZCL app survey so we know how to best build our app to our congregation. In this message from Acts 16, we witness a pivotal shift as Luke moves from being an observer to an active participant in the mission alongside Paul, Silas, and Timothy. The Holy Spirit leads the team in unexpected ways—changing plans and guiding them to new places and people, like Lydia, a wealthy Gentile woman whose heart God opens to the Gospel. Despite physical hardship and imprisonment, Paul and Silas worship boldly, demonstrating a faith that flourishes even in adversity. This passage invites us to follow the Spirit’s leading, join God’s mission by connecting with those He’s already working in, help set people free from bondage, and live fruitfully as part of God’s team.
