Paul’s Mission at Thessalonica BeginsPaul and Silas and Timothy have left Philippi following the shameful events there, in which Paul and Silas were arrested, humiliated, beaten and imprisoned without trial, and they have travelled down through Macedonia to the town of Thessalonica.  He later recalls this in 1st Thessalonians 2:1-2  For yourselves, brethren, know our entrance in unto you, that it was not in vain: 2 but even after that we had suffered before, and were shamefully entreated, as ye know, at Philippi, we were bold in our God to speak unto you the gospel of God with much contention.  He is still BOLD in God to bring the message of the gospel.Read the NOTES HERE Hosted on Acast.
