To the elders in Ephesus the apostle Paul says, “So now brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified,” Acts 20:32.We welcome you to our study of Paul's message to the elders at Ephesus and the continuation of the spread of the gospel in Acts chapters 20 through 22. We hope you'll get your Bible and that you will stay tuned as we study this section together.In Acts chapter 20 we now are going to see Paul taking of the Lord's Supper with Christians in the first century. I want you to notice what a powerful aspect in teaching this is about the Lord's Supper. One of the things we specifically learn is, in the midst of discouragement and temptation Christians have got to keep pressing forward with their faithfulness to the Lord.
