Already, he has been arrested and executed. Since no one else from the crew has been picked up, it is safe to assume that Brother Knife didn’t break. Given the nature of their work, the crew has reason to believe that it was a fellow drow that revealed their companion’s identity. Loose ends have got to get tied up one way or another.
