Akira is a Senior Lecturer in School of Psychology and Neuroscience at the University of St Andrews. He uses cognitive behavioural and brain-imaging approaches to understand episodic memory function. He is co-author of the book Colonised Minds, on the hidden origins of psychological thought that still influence how we teach and research the mind.
