It is important to preserve culture and heritage, as well as foster community social interaction - even with Peranakan culture and Peranakan people.  Simon Lim's guests on his show "NIGHTS WITH SIMON" on ONE FM 91.3 are from the Peranakan play "Ada Kerak Ada Nasi", presented by Gunong Sayang Association. You will hear from Artistic Director Tony Quek, Playwright Frederick Soh, Actor KT, and Actress Christina Wee.   Artistic Director Tony Quek makes his directorial comeback with this play, after a five year hiatus. Playwright Frederick Soh shares his inspirations in developing the story and characters. Actor KT who takes on the role of Bibik Gan Guek Neo in this stage production shares how he is approaching the character he plays. KT will also reveal what he has learned about family dynamics in a Peranakan household. Last but not least, you will hear from actress Christina Wee who plays the character Li Choo in this upcoming play.
