Adam Boeheim’s Quiet Rise at Syracuse

Adam Boeheim, a 6’4”, 285-pound redshirt sophomore offensive lineman from Carmel, NY, is quietly rising on the Syracuse Orange roster after adding 50 pounds since joining as a walk-on. Though he didn’t see any game action in 2025 and lacked recruiting rankings, his physical growth could earn him a special teams role this season. With a nod to the legendary Boeheim basketball legacy, some fans joke he should switch to jersey 35 — a move that could unlock unique Name, Image, and Likeness opportunities. As Fran Brown’s coaching staff builds depth, players like Boeheim embody the grit and potential that make college football so compelling.
