Adam Goldberg, M.A, M.Ed. | Director Of Annual Giving, Athletics at UC Irvine

from The Business of Sport by Sportsfinda · host Sportsfinda Inc

Adam Goldberg, M.A, M.Ed.  Adam is a professional in the sports industry. He has experience working with UCLA, the Los Angeles Angels, the Los Angeles Dodgers, and most recently UC Irvine Athletics as their GM of Ticket Sales and Service. Born and raised in a small town in Central California, Adam moved to Southern California to pursue his dream to work in Sports.   Where did you attend college?   I attended UC Merced from 2008-2012. I graduated with a degree in Literature and Cultures with a minor in writing. I then went on to get a Master’s Degree in Education from National University in 2015 and a Masters in Sport Management from USF (San Francisco) 2018.   Where do you work and what do you do?  I am the Associate General Manager of Ticket Sales and Service at UC Irvine. I plan the sales strategy and execution of ticket sales for seven different sports: Men’s and Women’s soccer, volleyball, basketball, and then baseball. This includes strategies for donations, single-game tickets, season tickets, mini-plans, and group tickets for all seven sports.   Where and when did you get your first job/internship in sports?   My first “job” in sports was volunteering for UCLA Alumni Relations. After that I secured an inside sales job with the Anaheim Angels, and shortly after a position with the Dodgers in Premium Hospitality. Get in touch with Adam here
