Lane was the NHSSCA Region 7 Coach of the year in 2021 and served as the Indiana State Director. Prior to Decatur Central Coach Lane was the Director of Strength and Conditioning / Sports Performance at Lawrence Central High School, Strength and Conditioning Coordinator for Broad Ripple Magnet School, and the Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at Washington Township Board of Education. Lane has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from the University of Indiana where he also played football. Coach Lane has 18 years of experience and carries multiple certifications. He is Level 1 USA Track and Field Certified, USAW Level 2 Advanced Sports Performance, Functional Movement Specialist, USAW Level 1 Sports Performance Coach, He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and a High School Strength and Conditioning Specialist.
