Adam and Eve’s fall into sin was a tragic event that if not for the mercies of God, all of humanity would be doomed. The Lord’s call unto the fallen Adam by name as recorded in Genesis 3:9 is the extended hand and an evident token of the grace of God towards humanity. It shows that God is not willing that any should perish but that all come unto repentance and be saved.
