Fay Cannings is; a good friend, a good partner, a good family member and a  leader in community impact and social values.  She is the founder of Seekd, an online marketplace for eco-friendly jewellery and accessories. She lives by her values.  In this episode, she shares how she's done that. Legacy has been an evolution and it takes time and effort to figure it out and Fay is still working on hers but ultimately for her, it’s been about creating an impact on peoples lives and offering community and connectivity. Given the family business, Fay has many favourite pieces, but her absolute favourite was an antique ring from her grandmother that Fay’s grandfather had gotten her.  It’s a stunning ring with two stones and the stones represent his two daughters in law, one of whom was Fay’s mum. In giving advice on living a meaningful life and leaving a legacy, Fay says that the key thing is not to give up and not to compare yourself to others because your journey is unique and you are doing things that are special to you.  Take the time to hone in on what is unique and special to you and if in doubt, speak to those around you, your nearest and dearest and hear what they say.  Surround yourself with a good support network and finally, decide on what you want your purpose to be, what your core values are, and just keep going and putting your own stamp out there.
