Addiction, recovery and his experience as a POC in White America

Terry Singletary joins Randi and Angelica to tell the story of his wounded warrior. Now a CASAC certified recovery advocate, Terry is devoted to teaching, living and being sobriety. However, it took a long road to get here. Having to battle with codependency, his otherness as the only black kid in his community growing-up, and self worth issues, Terry holds nothing back to show the road to recovery may not be pretty, but is worth it. THIS PROGRAM IS COMPRISED SOLELY OF THE PARTICIPANTS’ RECOLLECTIONS, STORIES AND INFORMATION AS TOLD TO HOST AND BY HOST DURING RECORDED CONVERSATION.  ANY INFORMATION DISCLOSED ABOUT INDIVIDUALS RELATED TO THE PARTICIPANTS (BUT NOT A PART OF THIS PROGRAM) IS A RETELLING OF THE PARTICIPANTS’ MEMORY.
