This week we're stepping outside our usual programming to address a public post from Jessica Rein, founder of the Holistic Human Design Conference, that mischaracterized James and the New School of Human Design. We walk through the full history behind it: James and Jessica's years-long relationship as teacher and student, the Fall 2025 Oslo conference, the 4% film project, and the harassment James received from the film's creative director, Selen Parmen, after he set boundaries. We also break down DARVO (deny, attack, reverse victim and offender), a manipulation pattern named by psychologist Jennifer Freyd, and share a professional statement from clinical and forensic psychologist Dr. Lalitha Pieri on why this situation fits that pattern.We don't take airing this publicly lightly.
