She is also a Menstrual Justice advocate, an activist, author, global moderator, content creator and mum of two lovely boys.In this episode we discuss menstrual justice, explaining exactly what it means and the work being done to ensure that everyone (not just menstruators) has adequate and appropriate information on periods, access to products, sanitation and hygiene. This episode aims to address period stigma and shaming head on to help change the narrative for our current and future generations. We ask important questions around patriarchy and even explore why women tend to be the worst offenders when it comes to period shaming. We highlight how institutions could take a positive stance by prioritizing workplace training and sensitization about menstruation.
