Mitris is a highly accomplished Adelaide-based player, who most recently made local headlines for following in his father's footsteps in representing the historic South Australian club with Cypriot roots, Adelaide Cobras FC after a storied career. Mitris was a standout player for West Adelaide FC in 2015, helping the former NSL giant capture the National Premier Leagues SA title with his goal scoring prowess.
