Adell Shines as Guardians Dominate Giants | Cleveland Guardians News

Jo Adell obliterated the Giants with a career-high six RBIs, including a 455-foot three-run homer in the first inning, powering the Guardians to an 8-1 win. After a brutal stretch of five wins in fifteen games, Cleveland got a huge boost as Adell finally finds his stride since joining the team in August. Starter Foster Griffin pitched six strong innings, now one of just four pitchers in MLB with 14 wins this season. The Giants’ Bryce Eldridge added another long ball but couldn’t turn it into victory. The game briefly paused when umpire Jordan Baker exited due to concussion symptoms from a foul ball. With momentum on their side, the Guardians will send lefty Parker Messick to the mound next.
