"I will give my clothes to whoever needs them." "Whosoever" is old fashioned and not used very often, especially in spoken English. "Whosoever" is used in formal English, like in the bible, for example: "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." - John 3:16 Adjectives, adverbs, verbs and nouns NOUN - Reza drank his coffee (coffee is a noun) VERB - Reza drank his coffee (drank is the verb) ADVERB - Reza drank his coffee slowly (adverb - slowly, quickly, noisily, beautifully) ADJECTIVE - Reza drank his hot coffee slowly (adjective describes the noun - strong, weak coffee)   sly - astuto, taimado/a (a sly fox) David used the example HELP - verb and noun. What's the adjective? 'helpful' / 'unhelpful' / 'helpless' - and the adverb? "When in Rome, do as the Romans."Act the way that the people around you are acting. Have your dinner at 9pm in Spain. Drink lots of tea in the UK.
