Adolescent pregnancies in South Africa on a downward trend

Adolescent pregnancies are always a reason for concern globally given the social and health implications. According to a new paper in the South African Medical Journal, there has been a noted decline in adolescent pregnancies in South Africa between 2021 and 2025, and especially so in our rural provinces.
