Ana and I just signed the paperwork to adopt our foster daughters, Emma and Cady and we will have a court date to finalize it all very soon. As foster parents we are not provided any family, birth or medical history or any information about what the girls have been through prior to and since coming into care. As adoptive parents we were finally provided that very thick document a couple days ago and it was heart-breaking. The girls are quite literally miracle babies. Ana and I talk openly about it, as much as we are allowed, in this episode.
