A simple running ledger with **crab, shellfish, or cheese‑flavoured dough** can surprise you on the bream; conger love a big chunk of oily fish on heavier gear. A couple of hot spots to keep in mind: - The **rocky points around Marjan hill in Split**, especially the outer side, are holding seabass at dawn and mixed bream through the morning. Cast parallel to the rocks and keep moving. - The **outer breakwaters near Gruž harbour in Dubrovnik** are producing bluefish and bonito when the wind chops up the surface in late afternoon.
