ADVANCING DESPITE OPPOSITION

Scripture “The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” — Psalm 27:1 Devotional Message: Opposition is one of the realities of pursuing God’s purpose. When you begin to grow, step into new opportunities, or walk boldly in faith, resistance may appear. Yet opposition does not mean that God has abandoned you; often, it confirms that you are moving in the right direction. David understood this truth. Even when surrounded by enemies, he declared that the Lord was his light, salvation, and strength. His confidence was not based on circumstances but on the presence of God. Advancing despite opposition requires courage and trust. It means refusing to allow criticism, discouragement, or fear to stop your progress. When God is your strength, the voices of opposition lose their power. Remember that God goes before you and stands with you. What seems like resistance today can become a testimony tomorrow. Keep advancing. God’s purpose in your life is stronger than any opposition you face. Today, Ask Yourself Am I letting opposition stop my progress, or am I trusting God to help me advance? Prayer Almighty Father, thank You for being my light and strength. Help me to move forward with courage despite opposition. Strengthen my faith and guide my steps in Your purpose.
