Advent 2022 - Joy

from Narrative Church Hosted by Narrative Church

In this message, we explore the themes of anticipation and joy during Advent, reflecting on Jesus' birth and his continued presence in our lives. We delve into the symbolic use of colors like blue and rose during the Advent season, and how they connect to our anticipation and joy in God's promises. This message also looks at Isaiah 35's prophecy, contrasting the oppression faced by God's people with the promise of everlasting joy and deliverance. Through a thoughtful analysis of scripture, we are reminded that it’s okay to struggle with finding joy and that God always finds joy in us, regardless of our circumstances.
