Advent - Day 5

Welcome to Day 5 of Hope Has Come. Today we explore one of the most profound responses of faith ever uttered - Mary's wholehearted surrender to God's extraordinary plan. Our scripture today comes from Luke 1:38: "I am the Lord's servant," Mary answered. "May your word to me be fulfilled." Consider the weight of this moment. A young woman, confronted with news that would completely upend her life, responds not with resistance or negotiation, but with complete surrender. Her words are both simple and profound - a declaration of identity and a submission to purpose.
