Advent IV: Love

Speaker: Pastor Nick Date: December 24, 2023 Synopsis: We're continuing in our Advent series "With Us" and engaging the theme of 'Love' this morning. Advent is a Latin word that means coming and it helps us to remind us to celebrate the coming of the Messiah in the baby Jesus. This morning we dig into the idea of what it means to heed the words of Jesus: "deny yourself, take up your cross and follow me." We look at how love plays a role in this call and what it might look like for us to shine a light on the things of this world that put God at the center of the universe rather than ourselves.
