Advent - Joy

Because happiness isn't enough - Part 3 of the Advent series leading up to Christmas at Journey Church Colorado. "Joy is a choice." Pastor Scotty teaches from Luke 1:26-38; Mtt. 1:18-24 where the word "joy" is mentioned 8 times in the story. "Happiness is what happens to you, based on circumstance. It's fleeting". When your joy is fading, remember: -God uses ordinary, average, unlikely people. -God will give you more than you can handle - BUT not more than you can handle together. -God only gives you the next step -Remember who God says you are. "If you could see the size of the blessing coming you would understand the magnitude of the battle you are fighting."
