For centuries, followers of Jesus have participated in Advent during the weeks leading up to Christmas. Advent, a word meaning "arrival," is a season where we rehearse the story of God — recognizing that the story of Jesus is not one story among many that we choose from, but its the story of reality. For the next 4 weeks leading up to Christmas, we will slow down together, ponder, contemplate, and participate in Jesus-centered practices… helping us make room to celebrate the Hope, Peace, Joy and Love of God revealed through the birth of Jesus.
