Advent (Part 2)

from Transit Church Sermons · host Transit Church - Jeff Toomer

For centuries, many Christians have set aside four Sundays leading up to Christmas to celebrate the arrival of Jesus Christ. This season is known as Advent, which means “coming” or “arrival.” Transit Church will observe the four traditional weekly themes of Advent: hope, love, joy, and peace. Join us as we learn from the prophecies of Isaiah about how anticipation brings a clearer understanding of Jesus, the baby born in Bethlehem…God with us.
