Advent - Peace

Advent means coming and we remember the coming of Jesus into this world; 3 meanings of coming that we, as Christians, celebrate at Advent 1st – coming of Jesus about 2000 years ago – he came as a babe to live as a man and die for us. 2nd – Jesus comes into our lives when we are born again – accept Him as Lord and Saviour. Advent is a time of waiting as we wait in hope for His second coming. Advent is a journey towards Jesus. As we get closer to him, we experience his peace in our lives.
